Amplifying the Voices of Maryland’s Cities and Towns

The Maryland Local Government Impact Hub (the Hub) aims to harness the energy found in cities and towns and amplify their presence through conducting in-depth research, providing educational training, framing public policy discussions, and assisting Marylanders when they need it most.

At the 2024 MML Board retreat held in Annapolis, the Board had the foresight to envision how a 501(c)(3) entity could compliment the League’s current offerings. After a year of building internal infrastructure, securing IRS tax status, and appointing leadership, the Hub is ready to start making a difference for Marylanders through its three pillars: research, training, and local assistance.
